(a) “Person” includes a natural person, a corporation, and a guardianship program.
(b) The definition of “person” assigned by § 311.005, Government Code, does not apply to any provision in this title.
Terms Used In Texas Estates Code 1002.023
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Person: includes a natural person and a corporation. See Texas Estates Code 22.027
