Terms Used In Texas Government Code 2163.0012
- Comptroller: means the state comptroller of public accounts. See Texas Government Code 312.011
- Rule: includes regulation. See Texas Government Code 311.005
The comptroller may adopt rules to efficiently and effectively administer this chapter. Before adopting a rule under this section, the comptroller must conduct a public hearing regarding the proposed rule regardless of whether the requirements of § 2001.029(b) are met.
