Terms Used In Texas Health and Safety Code 775.301
- Population: means the population shown by the most recent federal decennial census. See Texas Government Code 311.005
In this subchapter, “commissioners court” means the commissioners court of a county that:
(1) borders the United Mexican States;
(2) contains a municipality with a population of more than 500,000; and
(3) appoints a board of emergency services commissioners under this chapter.
