Terms Used In Texas Human Resources Code 32.035

  • Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.

The provisions of § 31.034 governing the right of appeal of an applicant for or recipient of financial assistance authorized under Chapter 31 also apply to applicants for medical assistance authorized in this chapter.
