Terms Used In Texas Insurance Code 1367.001
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
This subchapter applies only to a health benefit plan delivered or issued for delivery in this state that is an individual or group policy of accident and health insurance, including a policy issued by a group hospital service corporation operating under Chapter 842.
