Terms Used In Texas Insurance Code 1380.001
- Fraud: Intentional deception resulting in injury to another.
- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
In this chapter, “forced organ harvesting” means the removal of one or more organs from a living person by means of coercion, abduction, deception, fraud, or abuse of power or a position of vulnerability.
