Terms Used In Texas Insurance Code 651.209
- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
In addition to each penalty provided by Sections 651.166 and 651.208, the commissioner or a person designated by the commissioner may:
(1) order a sanction under Subchapter B, Chapter 82; or
(2) issue a cease and desist order under Chapter 83.
