- Comptroller: means the state comptroller of public accounts. See Texas Government Code 312.011
In accordance with reasonable rules adopted by the comptroller and the commissioner, the proper officer or agent of a domestic insurance company making a deposit of securities under this subchapter may at a reasonable time:
(1) examine the deposit;
(2) detach coupons from the securities; and
(3) collect interest on the deposit.
