Terms Used In Texas Natural Resources Code 81.002
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
In this chapter:
(1) “person” includes a corporation, as provided by § 312.011, Government Code; and
(2) the definition of “person” assigned by § 311.005, Government Code, does not apply.
