(a) The requirements of this subchapter may not be voided or waived by contract.
(b) Notwithstanding Subsection (a), a member of a health organization certified under § 162.001(b) may establish ethical and religious directives and a physician may contractually agree to comply with those directives.
Terms Used In Texas Occupations Code 162.0024
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- Physician: means a person licensed to practice medicine in this state. See Texas Occupations Code 151.002
