Terms Used In Texas Property Code 5.0143
- Deed: The legal instrument used to transfer title in real property from one person to another.
- Property: means real and personal property. See Texas Government Code 311.005
At the closing of purchase and sale, a separate copy of the notice required by § 5.014 with current information shall be executed by the seller and purchaser, acknowledged, and recorded in the deed records of the county in which the property is located.
