(a) To be qualified to serve as a director, a person must be at least 18 years old and:
(1) an owner of property subject to assessment by the district;
(2) an owner of a beneficial interest in a trust that owns property subject to assessment by the district; or
(3) an agent, employee, or tenant nominated by a person covered by Subdivision (1) or (2).
(b) § 375.063, Local Government Code, does not apply to the board.

- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
- Property: means real and personal property. See Texas Government Code 311.005
