Terms Used In Texas Special District Local Laws Code 3902.256
- Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.
- Property: means real and personal property. See Texas Government Code 311.005
The district may impose an assessment on property in the district to pay for an obligation described by § 3902.253 in the manner provided for:
(1) a district under Subchapter F, Chapter 375, Local Government Code; or
(2) a municipality or county under Subchapter A, Chapter 372, Local Government Code.
