Terms Used In Texas Transportation Code 520.052
- Population: means the population shown by the most recent federal decennial census. See Texas Government Code 311.005
This subchapter applies to any motor vehicle title service operating in a county:
(1) that has a population of more than 500,000; or
(2) in which the commissioners court by order has adopted this subchapter.
