As used in this part:

(1)  “Division” means the State Fire Marshal Division created in Section 53-7-103.

Terms Used In Utah Code 15A-1-402

  • Code: means :
(a) the State Construction Code; or
(b) an approved code. See Utah Code 15A-1-202
  • Division: means the State Fire Marshal Division created in Section 53-7-103. See Utah Code 15A-1-402
  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes a state, district, or territory of the United States. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5
  • State Fire Code: means the State Fire Code adopted by Chapter 5, State Fire Code Act. See Utah Code 15A-1-102
    • (2)  “Legislative action” includes legislation that:

    (a)  adopts a State Fire Code;

    (b)  amends a State Fire Code; or

    (c)  repeals one or more provisions of a State Fire Code.
