35A-5-102. Federal grants for retraining.

By following the procedures and requirements of Title 63J, Chapter 5, Federal Funds Procedures Act, the state, through the department, may and is encouraged to apply for retraining, community assistance, or technology transfer funds available through:
Terms Used In Utah Code 35A-5-102- Department: means the Department of Workforce Services created in Section 35A-1-103. See Utah Code 35A-1-102
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes a state, district, or territory of the United States. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5
- United States: includes each state, district, and territory of the United States of America. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5

the United States Department of Defense; |

United States Department of Labor; or |
| (c) |
other appropriate federal offices or departments. |

In applying for federal funds, the state, through the department, may inform the federal government of state matching or enhancement funds if those funds are available under Section 67-1-12. |
