(1) The department may suspend a license immediately if:

- Department: means the Department of Agriculture and Food created in Chapter 2, Administration. See Utah Code 4-1-109
- Person: means a natural person or individual, corporation, organization, or other legal entity. See Utah Code 4-1-109
- Writing: includes :(48)(a) printing;(48)(b) handwriting; and(48)(c) information stored in an electronic or other medium if the information is retrievable in a perceivable format. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5(1)(a) an emergency exists that presents a clear and present danger to the public health;(1)(b) an inspection or sampling is refused; or(1)(c) the licensee’s bond has been revoked or cancelled.
(2) The department shall immediately notify the person of the suspension in writing and provide an opportunity for hearing without delay.
