When a deposition has been filed, if not read on the trial by the party taking it, it may be read by the other party.
Terms Used In West Virginia Code 57-4-5
- Deposition: An oral statement made before an officer authorized by law to administer oaths. Such statements are often taken to examine potential witnesses, to obtain discovery, or to be used later in trial.
