Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 40:33B-6

  • Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
Any designation effectuated or regulation promulgated pursuant to this act shall be subject to an appeal thereof to the governing body of the county by the owner of the property involved.
