Terms Used In 16 CFR Part 1308 - Prohibition of Children's Toys and Child Care Articles Containing Specified Phthalates: Determinations Regarding Certain Plastics
- Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
- Interest rate: The amount paid by a borrower to a lender in exchange for the use of the lender's money for a certain period of time.
