Terms Used In Iowa Code 234.14
- Director: means the director of health and human services. See Iowa Code 234.1
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" may include the said district and territories. See Iowa Code 4.1
The state treasurer may receive federal funds made available for carrying out any of the activities and functions of the department under this chapter, and all such funds are appropriated for expenditure upon authorization of the director.
