Terms Used In Missouri Laws 293.310

  • Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
  • person: may extend and be applied to bodies politic and corporate, and to partnerships and other unincorporated associations. See Missouri Laws 1.020

Any person, partnership or corporation, or the agent of any such person, partnership or corporation, who shall violate any of the provisions of sections 293.270 to 293.300, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall, upon conviction, be fined not more than five hundred dollars and not less than one hundred dollars.
