Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 18A:3B-5
- Department: means the State Department of Education. See New Jersey Statutes 18A:1-1
- Higher education: means that education which is provided by any or all of the public institutions of higher education as herein defined and any or all equivalent private institutions. See New Jersey Statutes 18A:1-1
5. The offices and terms of the Chancellor of Higher Education, vice-chancellor, the assistant chancellors and the directors of the various divisions and offices of the Department of Higher Education, except as herein otherwise provided, shall terminate upon the effective date of this act.
