The board of a school district shall allow a teacher to:

- year: means twelve consecutive months. See North Dakota Code 1-01-33
1. Use at least ten days of sick leave each school year without a loss of compensation; and 2. Accumulate sick leave and carry over from year to year at least thirty days of accumulated unused sick leave.
