Terms Used In Michigan Laws 289.7109
- Department: means the department of agriculture and rural development. See Michigan Laws 289.1107
- Person: means an individual, sole proprietorship, partnership, corporation, association, or other legal entity. See Michigan Laws 289.1109
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. A person shall not operate a bottled water plant or bottle water for the purpose of sale or distribution in this state without first demonstrating to the department that the source, bottling facility, treatment and bottling practices comply with 21 C.F.R. part 129, and product water meets the requirements of this chapter.
