Terms Used In Indiana Code 20-19-10-5

  • commission: refers to the Indiana civic education commission established by section 2 of this chapter. See Indiana Code 20-19-10-1
  • Quorum: The number of legislators that must be present to do business.
  • Testimony: Evidence presented orally by witnesses during trials or before grand juries.
     (b) The affirmative vote of at least a majority of the members of the commission is necessary for the commission to take official action other than to meet and take testimony.
