Terms Used In Nevada Revised Statutes 583.481

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • person: means a natural person, any form of business or social organization and any other nongovernmental legal entity including, but not limited to, a corporation, partnership, association, trust or unincorporated organization. See Nevada Revised Statutes 0.039

1.  As a meat broker, renderer or animal food manufacturer;

2.  As a wholesaler of any carcasses, or parts or products of the carcasses, of any poultry, cattle, sheep, swine, goats, horses, mules or other equines, whether intended for human food or other purposes;

3.  As a public warehouseman storing any such articles in or for intrastate commerce; or

4.  Of buying, selling or transporting in intrastate commerce, or importing, any dead, dying, disabled or diseased animals of the specified kinds, or parts of the carcasses of any such animals that died otherwise than by slaughter, unless, when required by regulations of the Officer, the person, firm or corporation has registered with the Officer the name, and the address of each place of business at which and all trade names under which the person, firm or corporation conducts such business.
