• Administration: means the National Credit Union Administration. See 12 USC 1742
• advisory committee: means any committee, board, commission, council, conference, panel, task force, or other similar group, or any subcommittee or other subgroup thereof that is established or utilized by the Department of Agriculture in the interest of obtaining advice or recommendations for the President or the Department of Agriculture, except that such term excludes any committee which (A) is composed wholly of full-time officers or employees of the Federal Government, (B) is established by statute or reorganization plan, or (C) is established by the President. • individual: shall include every infant member of the species homo sapiens who is born alive at any stage of development. See 1 USC 8
• indoor facility: means a building that is enclosed. See 20 USC 7972
• kind: means one or more related species or subspecies singly or collectively known by one common name, such as soybean, flax, or radish. See 7 USC 2401
• member: means a member of the Board. See
• oath: includes affirmation, and "sworn" includes affirmed. See 1 USC 1
• obscene: means , with respect to a project, that&mdash. See 20 USC 7703
• officer: includes any person authorized by law to perform the duties of the office. See 1 USC 1
• order: means the Hass avocado promotion, research, and information order issued under this chapter. See
• person: means any individual, partnership, corporation, association, or other entity. See
• person: means any individual, group of individuals, firm, partnership, corporation, joint stock company, association, cooperative, or other legal entity. See

• variety: means a plant grouping within a single botanical taxon of the lowest known rank, that, without regard to whether the conditions for plant variety protection are fully met, can be defined by the expression of the characteristics resulting from a given genotype or combination of genotypes, distinguished from any other plant grouping by the expression of at least one characteristic and considered as a unit with regard to the suitability of the plant grouping for being propagated unchanged.
