- Arrest: Taking physical custody of a person by lawful authority.
- person: includes a corporation, company, partnership, firm, association, organization, business trust, or society, as well as a natural person. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
The court, judge, referee, or other person before whom the attendance of the witness is required may discharge a witness from an arrest made in violation of Alaska Stat. § 09.20.150.
