Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 14.30.620
- state: means the State of Alaska unless applied to the different parts of the United States and in the latter case it includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
Employees of the agency are not in the state service and are not subject to Alaska Stat. Chapter 39.25 (State Personnel Act). However, employees of the agency shall be members of either the Teachers’ Retirement System (Alaska Stat. Chapter 14.25) or the Public Employees’ Retirement System (Alaska Stat. Chapter 39.35).
