The director, after conducting a hearing for the licensee, may cancel, suspend or revoke the license of a school or agent in any case in which the director finds that the licensee has not complied with, or has knowingly violated, this chapter or any rule adopted under this chapter. Each cancelled, suspended or revoked license shall be returned to the director by the licensee. Decisions of the director shall be subject to judicial review pursuant to Title 12, Chapter 7, Article 6.

Terms Used In Arizona Laws 32-2391

  • Agent: means any person who, for compensation, enrolls or attempts to enroll residents of this state in a professional driver training school through personal or telephone contact, advertisement, mail or any other type of publication. See Arizona Laws 32-2351
  • Director: means the director of the department of transportation. See Arizona Laws 32-2351
  • school: means a business enterprise conducted by an individual, association, partnership, or corporation that educates and trains persons, either practically or theoretically, or both, to operate or drive commercial motor vehicles, that prepares applicants for an examination given by the state for a commercial driver license or learner's permit and that charges a consideration or tuition for these services.
