The board may, with the approval of the department:
(a) Fix the term of office, the amount of bond and salary, and prescribe the duties of the secretary and of the treasurer.
Terms Used In California Food and Agricultural Code 3965
- Department: means the Department of Food and Agriculture. See California Food and Agricultural Code 32
- Secretary: means the Secretary of Food and Agriculture. See California Food and Agricultural Code 35
- Subdivision: means a subdivision of the section in which that term occurs unless some other section is expressly mentioned. See California Food and Agricultural Code 49
(b) Manage the affairs of the association.
(c) Make all necessary bylaws, rules, and regulations for the government of the association.
(d) Delegate, as it may deem advisable, to its officers or employees any of the powers that are vested in the board under subdivision (b). Any delegation of power may be revoked at any time.
