Terms Used In Hawaii Revised Statutes 147-123
- Department: means the department of agriculture. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 147-122
- Seed: means :
(1) The seed of grass, forage, cereal, and fiber crops;
(2) Other kinds of seed commonly recognized as agricultural or vegetable seed; and
(3) Other kinds of propagating materials. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 147-122
The department may enter into cooperative agreements with the United States Department of Agriculture or other agreements and contracts with private parties or other governmental agencies for the purposes of certifying seed.
