Terms Used In Hawaii Revised Statutes 147-127

  • Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
  • Seed: means :

    (1) The seed of grass, forage, cereal, and fiber crops;

    (2) Other kinds of seed commonly recognized as agricultural or vegetable seed; and

    (3) Other kinds of propagating materials. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 147-122

A certificate issued under this part and all certificates issued under the authority of the Congress of the United States relating to matters covered by this part shall be acceptable in any court of this State as prima facie evidence of the genetic purity, identity, quality, and condition of seed at the time of its inspection.
