Terms Used In Hawaii Revised Statutes 346-39
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- county: includes the city and county of Honolulu. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 1-22
- Department: means the department of human services. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 346-1
The attorney general and the county attorneys and corporation counsel shall act as legal representatives of the department of human services when so requested.
