- State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
Based on district plans to provide alternative learning opportunities, the regional office of education must submit an annual plan summarizing the number, needs, and demographics of students at risk of academic failure expected to be served in its region. This plan must be updated annually and submitted to the State Board.
