- Remainder: An interest in property that takes effect in the future at a specified time or after the occurrence of some event, such as the death of a life tenant.
The articles, provisions and sections of this Act shall be deemed to be separable and the invalidity of any portion of this Act shall not affect the validity of the remainder.
