- individual: shall include every infant member of the species homo sapiens who is born alive at any stage of development. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.36
If the court grants the petition of a family member for visitation in accordance with Section 10, the court may also order the family caregiver to use reasonable efforts to notify the petitioner of the frail elderly individual‘s hospitalization, admission to a healthcare facility, change in permanent residence, or death.
