Terms Used In Indiana Code 12-13-4-6

  • council: refers to the division of family resources advisory council established by this chapter. See Indiana Code 12-13-4-1
  • Presiding officer: A majority-party Senator who presides over the Senate and is charged with maintaining order and decorum, recognizing Members to speak, and interpreting the Senate's rules, practices and precedents.
   Sec. 6. The council shall meet at least monthly and is subject to special meetings at the call of the council’s presiding officer.
