Terms Used In Indiana Code 16-22-8-2.5

  • building authority: means the building authority established pursuant to IC 36-9-13 by the county in which the corporation is established. See Indiana Code 16-22-8-2.5
  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
   Sec. 2.5. As used in this chapter, “building authority” means the building authority established pursuant to IC 36-9-13 by the county in which the corporation is established.
