- Lease: A contract transferring the use of property or occupancy of land, space, structures, or equipment in consideration of a payment (e.g., rent). Source: OCC
Sec. 12. A lease under this chapter must provide for the payment of the lease rental by the city from the levy of taxes against the real and personal property located within the city.
