Sec. 2. As used in this chapter:
“Department” refers to a department of parks and recreation.
“Board” refers to a park and recreation board.
Terms Used In Indiana Code 36-10-3-2
- Board: refers to a park and recreation board. See Indiana Code 36-10-3-2
- Department: refers to a department of parks and recreation. See Indiana Code 36-10-3-2
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
“District” means the area within the jurisdiction of a department.
