Terms Used In Iowa Code 148.8
- board: means the board of medicine established in chapter 147. See Iowa Code 148.2A
- License: means a license issued by the state under this chapter to a hearing aid specialist. See Iowa Code 154A.1
The board may accept the voluntary surrender of a license if accompanied by a written statement of intention. A voluntary surrender, when accepted, has the same force and effect as an order of revocation.
