- Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.
In case such resident is a minor and has formed no choice, the minor’s preference may, at any time, be expressed by the minor with the approval of parents or guardian, if the minor has any such.
