Terms Used In Iowa Code 234.2
- Administrator: means the administrator of the division. See Iowa Code 234.1
- Child: means either a person less than eighteen years of age or a person eighteen, nineteen, or twenty years of age who meets all of the following conditions:a. See Iowa Code 234.1
- Department: means the department of human services. See Iowa Code 249L.2
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" may include the said district and territories. See Iowa Code 4.1
Within the state department of human services, there is hereby created a division of child and family services which shall be administered by the administrator of said division and such other officers and employees as may be hereafter provided.
