Terms Used In Iowa Code > Chapter 714A - Pay-Per-Call Service
- Advertisement: means advertisement as defined in section 714. See Iowa Code 714A.1
- following: when used by way of reference to a chapter or other part of a statute mean the next preceding or next following chapter or other part. See Iowa Code 4.1
- Merchandise: means merchandise as defined in section 714. See Iowa Code 714A.1
- Pay-per-call service: means electronic communications products and services which are provided to end users by information or service providers, and which meet all of the following requirements:(1) The end users send or receive information, services, or communications whose general subject matter is determined or influenced by the service provider. See Iowa Code 714A.1
- Person: means person as defined in section 714. See Iowa Code 714A.1
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" may include the said district and territories. See Iowa Code 4.1
