Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 75-37,133

  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Kansas Statutes 77-201
  • State agency: means any state office or officer, department, board, commission, institution, bureau or any other state authority which may lawfully request a state appropriation. See Kansas Statutes 75-3728a

If a state agency expends grant funds to purchase goods or services for which the state agency receives a direct service or a tangible asset, the procurement of those goods or services shall be subject to Kan. Stat. Ann. § 75-3739, 75-37,102 and Kan. Stat. Ann. § 75-37,132, and amendments thereto, or other applicable statutes relating to procurement of those goods and services.
