Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 76-6a13d

In addition to the buildings authorized by Kan. Stat. Ann. § 76-6a13 (c), 76-6a13a and 76-6a14, the state board of regents, hereinafter referred to as the “board,” is hereby authorized to construct or cause to be constructed health educational facilities for the training of medical and paramedical personnel, which facilities shall include buildings, fixtures, machinery, furnishings and equipment. Such buildings may include classrooms, laboratories, dormitories, kitchens, dining halls, hospitals, parking facilities used in connection with any of such buildings, and any other buildings which the board finds necessary to the purposes of fostering and promulgating a curriculum approved by the board of regents, especially but not limited to the education of family practitioners who will be interested in practicing their profession in the state of Kansas, and such facilities shall be used in conformity with this act. In constructing such facilities, the board may use land owned by the state adjacent to present facilities of the university of Kansas medical center in Kansas City or may acquire additional land anywhere in the state of Kansas.
