Terms Used In Maine Revised Statutes Title 30-A Sec. 4806

  • housing authority: means any of the public corporations created or authorized to be created by this chapter. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 30-A Sec. 4702
  • Lien: A claim against real or personal property in satisfaction of a debt.
The Maine State Housing Authority shall require that institutional loans be secured as to payment of both principal and interest by a pledge of and lien upon qualified collateral security. The Maine State Housing Authority may establish any requirements that it considers necessary with respect to the pledging, assigning, setting aside or holding of this collateral and the making of substitutions for or additions to the collateral and the disposition of income and receipts from the collateral.
