1. Creation. There is created and established under the jurisdiction and control of the Maine State Housing Authority the Housing Opportunities for Maine Fund.

Terms Used In Maine Revised Statutes Title 30-A Sec. 4853
- fund: means the Housing Opportunities for Maine Fund created by subsection 1. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 30-A Sec. 4853
- housing authority: means any of the public corporations created or authorized to be created by this chapter. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 30-A Sec. 4702
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
2. Definitions. As used in this subchapter, unless the context otherwise indicates, the term “fund” means the Housing Opportunities for Maine Fund created by subsection 1.
